I am looking for any information on my Grandfather, Dewey Christie, born appx 1900-died 1932. Mothers name possibly Marie, Fathers name unknown. I know he had 6 brothers: Timothy, Carl, Frank, William, John & Robert and that he married Georgeanna Smith in Cabell County, W.V. in 1925. Also, he lived in West Palm Beach, Florida where he owned 2 lumberyards/mills until a hurricane wiped them out. Moved to Riverside, CA. and was an insurance agent for New York Metropolitan Life until he died at age 32 in apprx. 1932. Son Daniel-my father- was born in CA in 1930, but Dewey possibly (about 7 years earlier) had another child, name and mother of child unknown. Any information on any Christie noted above would be very much appreciated. Thank You!
