While researching guardianship papers at the Santa Clara County (California) courthouse, I found a listing of heirs of Jesse H. CHRISMAN (b. June 1836 in PA), which included his brothers Josiah (b. Sept 1841 in PA), Lewis, John and George, and his sisters Emeline GOOGE and Mary Ann MANSIL.

If any of these names ring a bell, I would appreciate a note. My initial interest was the parentage of Josiah and Jesse. I now have a great deal more work to do and am interested in contacting researchers on any of the lines. I’ll gladly share what I know.

Additional information:
George, Emeline and Mary Ann are deceased by Feb 1920. J.H. (as Jesse was commonly called) died Dec 1921 in San Jose. Josiah died in Los Angeles in 1930.

Records indicate that John (temporarily), and J.H. and Josiah and were in the San Jose area before 1866.

Thank you for any help you can give.
