I was very pleased to see your message on the ancestry site. I used to work with your grandfathers brother Henry Chipchase on British Railways restaurant cars in the late 1960s.I remember him telling me that his father was an engine driver and that he was killed in an accident. Do you know anything about this accident?,I have done quite a bit of reseach into this, but
I have not been able to find anything out only the fact that he was an engine driver. I will send some more info shortly.
