Butler,Bates Co. MO Nov 11 1929. He was born in Hampshire Co. WV to &lt;br&gt;NANCY JANE CHESSHER and WELBY MCKEE per his death certificate. &lt;br&gt;Informant, Wm E NASH, stepson. Buried in Shawnee, KS. &lt;br&gt;Spouse: Winnie Chessher (nee Winnifred Maud GLACKEN) </description>

CHESSER.&lt;br&gt;Wife of Member State Democratic Executive Committee Passes Away at Georgetown.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Special to the News.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Georgetown, Tex., March 3. -- Mrs. Laura Snyder Chessher, wife of Hon. Dan B. Chessher, former County Attorney of Williamson County and a member of the State Democratic Executive Committee, died yesterday and was buried today in the Odd Fellows' Cemetery. Mrs. Chessher was  35 years of age and was born in Georgetown, being a member of one of the oldest families in this section of Texas and the daughter of Capt. and Mrs. J.W. Snyder. She was a member of the Methodist Church, the Woman's Home Mission Society, the Eastern Star and the Review Club. Funeral services were conducted by Dr. John R. Allen and Rev. John M. Barcus. The active pallbearers were Lee J. Rountree, Hon. Cooper Sansom, City Attorney D.W. Wilcox, Alderman Lee M. Taylor, Sam W. Brown and George N. McDaniel. Honorary pallbearers, Chief Justice W.L. Davidson, Capt. J.T. Sneed, District Judge Charles A. Wilcox, A.A. Booty, J.E. Cooper and W.F. Corey.&lt;br&gt;(Source: Dallas Morning News, March 4, 1908.)</description>
