I am looking for info on my great grandparents, Emma Cherry Jones (1887-1975) and Charles William Jones (1882-1930 or 32). Charles last name was Fahnestock, but he changed it to Jones.
Emma's parents were:
Elisabetha Gotz of either France or Germany.
Jacob Schenz (is either her father or grandfather) was naturalized in Wilkes-Barre, PA in 1858. I think the last name was changed to Cherry.
Charles Parents were:
Emanuel Fahnestock from Germany
Henrietta nee Leluck I think of Germany also
Emma was born in 1887 and died in Wilkes-Barre, PA in 1975
Charles was born in 1882, Juniata County, PA and died 1930-32 from a coal mine accident in or near Luzerne COunty, PA.
