I am looking for information regarding my husband's
great grandmother. Her maiden name was Malinda
Chapman, she was born July 28, 1842 at Mt Vernon,
Ohio. See married George Simpson in 1857 and they
had two children. He was killed in the Civil
War. She then married Ira S. Parker in Brownville,
NE in 1864. Ira had six children from his first
marriage. Ira and Malinda had ten children of
their own. Malinda raised 22 children. Ira died
in 1899 at Brownville, NE. Malinda died January 21,
1923 at Custer City, OK. Any information would
be appreciated.
