your message is a couple of years old, but if you are still researching, this seems to fit the people mentioned in your original message, not closely related, but have Chandlers on my tree and doing some research, and saw your message and had this obit, thought this may give you some leads of how to make contact with his family if you haven't and are still looking if this is the correct family.
Harold Chandler, 58, of 450 58th St. SE, died Thursday in Charleston Memorial Hospital he was a retired-maintenance man for the State. Surviving: wife Lillian, sons, Charles, James and Gary, all of Charleston Ted. at home, Harold of California, Robert of Cleveland,
Ohio; daughters, Mrs. Linda Richard of Marmet, Brenda Jane and Iva
Gail, both at home, Mrs. Connie Miller of Kenna, Mrs. Sharon Adams of
Kenna Mrs. Sharon Adams of Elk Two-Mile. Mrs. Mary Beckett of Hurricane; brothers, Sam Chandler of Hernshaw, Sid Chandler of South Charleston, sister, Mrs. Ernestine Withrow of Nitro, 14 grandchildren.
Service will be 2 p.m. Sunday in J. E. Johnson Funeral Home
in Kanawha City with the Rev. Raymond Anderson and the Rev.
Hassell Allen officiating. Burial will be in Songer Cemetery on
Davis Creek.
