In the 1880 Census, "Deverol" H. Slingerland (30 NY) was a carpenter enumerated in Keating Twp (McKean County) Pennsylvania with wife Lucy (30 NY) and son Eugene (3 Penn).

The Lucy I speculated about in my first note was part of a family which did settle in Keating.
