I am now in touch with Bill Chamlee, whose grandfather David Samson Chamlee was a son of Emily and Adniron Chamlee.(Both born in McMinn, Tennesee, lived in Missouri and died in Texas.) He gave me a copy of an old photo of Emily with David S. about five yrs. old. I have it on a disk and would be glad to share. I also have a photo of Julia Elizabeth Chamlee Harris, dau. of Emily and Adniron and my ggrandmother. Looks very Cherokee. I understand Emily's mother was full blooded Cherokee and a medicine woman. Passed it down to Emily and Julia and son Tommie Scott.
