Looking to find info on his parents. He Married Sophia "Lucretia" Ferry. I found them in the 1850 and 1860 census but can find no record of his birth or who his parents might be. It appears he just magically appears. I have him living in Michigan. And even found Death Certs for his Children. I've tried looking for James as well as Edgar since people seemed to switch their names around. I've even tried searching the Ferry Route and there are two Ferry women I've ID' that being Aesnath Ferry and Emma Ferry who married into the family. I've even searched for alternate spellings: Chaffee, Chafee, Chaffe with no luck. I'm out of ideas at this point. If anyone has any info please email me at: gravecorrection "at" hotmail dot com.
