Hello

In the Chaffee Genealogy, William Chaffee notes that Amos was married 3 times..
1. To Betsey Harwood 1-1-1795
2. Rachel Gubtil No dates given
3. to Mrs. Lydia (Beckwith) Richardson no dates given

I have been unable to find anything on Rachel Gubtil(le) at all. I did find the marriage record for Amos and Lydia showing they married 23-Jul 1807

Which means (going by dates) she would be the mother of (7?) of his children.

I'm trying to find info on Rachel tho so that the children are 'allocated' to the correct mothers. And wonder if Amos ever married Rachel or if she even existed - I can' t find a birth record for her either.

Does anyone have any ideas/documentation?
