I have two original postcard photographs which I’d like to get back to descendants or family members. One is of “Clarence and Grace Chaffee - (taken) July 1943” and the other is “Patricia Chaffee and sister (Helen)”. Photo of parents was taken in CA, likely San Bernadino Co., where they had moved after the 1920 census. Photo of their daughters had to have been taken in Pottawattamie Co., IA, where the family lived at time of 1920 census.

I found the family in 1920 in Louisville (Pottawattomie Co.) KS, and in 1930 in Upland (San Bernadino Co.) CA. FindAGrave.com shows parents buried in Pomona (L.A. Co.). Public Member Tree shows Grace was Grace Margaret Fitzgerald, born Belvue (Pottawattomie Co.), that Helen Margaret Chaffee married Carl V. Nielsen and she died 1981 Chino, CA.
