Deforest Covert Chaffee died 1983 in Wellsboro, Tioga County, PA and is buried in the Old Charleston Cemetery, east of Wellsboro near Shumway Hill Road and US Rt 6, in Charleston Township, Tioga County, PA. His wife Elsie Grace Creighton Chaffee is not found in the same cemetery, but I will tell you the cemetery is in declining condition with some broken and buried graves.
