My son's name is John { Giovani } Mia Grandpa chiamo was Edmund {Edmundo Dante } Cevasco his father"s name was John {Giovani}Cevasco . His father's name was Thomas { Tomasio } Cevasco. I believe his father's name was Batista Cevasco. All came from Genoa { Genova } Italia. That's all we know. Where do you live.? Do you know when and why your ancesters immagrated.? My understanding of the Cevasco name is that all of them originated from Genoa. And that all the Cevasco clan are related. Do you know where the Cevasco family came from before Genoa? What is your Religion? what was your ancester's religion? We know that there is a mountain range in northeastern Spain in the Basque region, called Vasco named by a Roman ceasar. We also understand that many of us are Roman Catholic,
but there are some who are Jews. Thia makes for a very interesting family history. Any information that you could share would be wonderful. Also ,how old are you ? And do you have any other family? Thankyou and God bless.

Hello Alessandra, My name is Kevin Cevasco. My grandfather came from Genoa, in 1904. He was always quiet about his families history. I was wondering if you have any knowledge about the family origin. How and when did the arrive in the Genoa area. G-Pa always said that it had something to do with the Spanish inquisition in the late 15th century. We havn't been able to find too much info before the 1800's.
Where did the name originate from? Was it from the -Vasco mountain range in Spain? Or from the town of Ceva. Or is it as some have said, a Jewish origin? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you Alassandra. And God Bless
