I am looking for information on Panfilo and John Cetrone. They came from Italy around 1910. Their parents were Fabianangelo and Lucia DiCristopher. They had at least one sister that lived in Warren Ohio.

Hi,
I don't have info on Cetrone from Ohio or MI.
I'm researching Cetrone in PA (Pgh area). My line came from L'Aquila about 1904-5.
If you have any possible links to folks from this area I would love to have them.
What state are you in?
If I can help you search anything around this area please don't hesitate to ask.

I just saw this web site for the first time. My name is John R. Cetrone Jr. My father was John R. Cetrone. We are originally from Newton Massachusetts. However I've lived in Maryland for the past 4 years.
My father was from a large family of 9. His father's name was Pasquale Cetrone. Pasquale imigrated to the USA from Italy, not sure what year probably early 1900. I think he was from somewhere with a name that sounds like Santa Na Dez.
The 9 children were named: Daniel Guido Anthony Josephine - Became Connors Mildred - Became Brian Elizabeth - became Miller Geraldine Became Murphy Madiline became Shelton
All of the females except Madiline have died of breast cancer. All brothers except Guido are dead.
Regards,
John Cetrone

PVT Peter Jim Cetrone (WWII, KIA)
Ms Cetrone -
I'm wondering if we might be researching the same Cetrone family. According to the 1940 census for Detroit, Wayne, Michigan, I have the following:
Panfilo Cetroni 59 Josephine Cetroni 40 Vicki Cetroni 21 Joseph Cetroni 20 Louis Cetroni 17 Peter Cetroni 16 Anna Cetroni 15 Anthony Cetroni 12 John Cetroni 8 Romeo Cetroni 7
I am actually researching this family because their son, Peter, perished in Tarawa during World War II.
PVT Cetrone is not a family member of mine, sir. I am a civilian volunteer trying to locate living relatives of our unaccounted-for heroes so that I can put them in touch with the Service Casualty Officer of their respective branch to make a family reference sample (FRS, or DNA) donation. The ultimate goal is to positively identify the remains of these soldiers in order to bring them home.
Any assistance which you may be able to provide would be greatly appreciated. Should you have any questions, comments, requests and/or suggestions, please feel free to contact me.
Very Respectfully, Jennifer
