I have been looking under Cesanek, which is my Dad's name, his father was Emil Cesanek. They are from Allentown, PA.
There is also a spelling for Cwanek.
I live in Pa myself.

Hello, My name is Judith Cesanek Nilsen. I am the daughter of the late John Cesanek of NJ and the granddaughter of the late Helen Cesanek wife of the late John Cesanek who was a tailor in Philadelphia. I remember visiting relatives in New Britain CT as a very little girl 1941). My grandmother Helen was from a little town in Hungary (Gimot). I would be interested in knowing if there is a connection...... Thanks

Judith Cesanek Nilsen, we are most possibly related. My Great Uncle John Cesanek was from Maple Shade, New Jersey; his half brother, Albert Elko, was my grandfather. My great Grandmother, Helen Gish (Kish?) Elko Cesanek, was from Gimot (sp), Hungary. Uncle John's wife was named Aunt Ginny. Gram spent half her summers in St Augustine and half with Uncle John and Aunt Ginny.
Could you please respond with any info regarding this link?
