Re: Ceraldi Family from Pietragalla, Italy
The men of Ceraldi, Grippo and DeBonis families all traveled to Canada via the same ship which landed in Ellis Island. You can research this through Ellis Island. They then traveled together by train to British Columbia, where they worked until they could bring their families over from Pietragalla. They have remained friends throughout the years. The Pafundi's arrived at a later date. Their history is interconnected in Pietragalla through various marriages since the mid 1800's.

Re: Ceraldi Family from Pietragalla, Italy
Good afternoon, my name is Leandro Ceraldi, I wonder if they know the ancestry of my great grandfather named Carmelo Ceraldi born in 1895. The emigrated from Pietragalla in 1909 to Argentina, he married Teresa Larrocca and had 7 sons: Donato Andres, Teodoro Domingo, Mario, Adolfo Ismael, Juan Carlos, Robert Abel and one died of small named Daniel Enrique. My grandfather Teodoro Ceraldi (90 years) is the only descendant of Carmel alive. Teodoro has 2 children: Eduardo Luis and Mercedes Eugenia. My father Eduardo Ceraldi has 3 children: Vanina, Leandro and Dana. Greetings from Azul, Province of Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Re: Ceraldi Family from Pietragalla, Italy
Hi Donna,
I have spent years trying to piece together my family lineage and some of the names you mentioned do ring a bell. I know there is a connection between the pafundi family, the ceraldi family, and the debonis family. I too would love to find my relatives who still remain in Pietragalla. Most of my relatives here in the States have passed on, but I would enjoy seeing if you and I can find a connection to unite our bloodlines :)
