My maternal greatnana name was Henrietta Cephas born in Virgina 1901 & moved to Massachuesttes where she pasted in 1991. She married Howard Brown and had three children that I know of Al(M)-he past before I was born, Tracy (M)1920-2004, and Margaret (F)1918-2005. Hi I have been searching for anything i can find on my gr gr grandftaher charles adam cephas. he was born somewhere around christianburg va on a plantation his father was andrew ceohas and his mother was jennie rawlings...I have tried lookinf for plantations around that area to even get a little bit of a lead but so far ive only found a smithfield plantation. my grandftaher after his parenst passed moved to beckley wv then to sharpsburg ohio and was a coalminer i have quite a bit of info on him just want more, if any of you know where i could look or even if theres a link to someone here please reply :)
