In my line I have a Mary Cepek, daughter of Joseph Cepek and Anna Wopat Cepek. Mary Cepek lived in Chicago. She was born 25 Mar 1852 in Plzen, Bohemia. She married Vaclav/Wencil "Jim" Pitcl in about 1870 and had three children in Bohemia. Sometime before 1874 they emigrated from Bohemia to Chicago and had four children there. They moved to Wisconsin between 1880 and 1883 and had five more children there. Please contact me if you would like further information.

One of the sons of Wecil (aka James) PITCL & Mary Cepek PITCL was James (1878-1936) who married my great-aunt, Julia (nee STEKL; 1888-1940). I have some data on the eight children of James & Julia that was compiled by a cousin of mine.
If you are interested, perhaps we should compare information and see if some blanks can be completed.

If we were related, it would have to be back in "the old country". My grandfather, Vaclav, or James, Stekl came to the USA with his parents in the 1880's and he was the only boy in his family. I do not have complete data on STEKL earlier than his family, so I regret that I can offer no assistance.
