Obituary Notes for Stanley Henry CEJKA
Stanley H. Cejka, 79, of 1031 19th Street SE, died Wednesday afternoon, August 30, 1995, in University Hospitals, Iowa City, after a long illness. Services: 10 a.m. Tuesday, Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, by the Rev. Karl Glovik. Burial: St. Johns Cemetery. Friends may call from 1 to 8 p.m. Monday at Kuba Funeral Home East, where a rosary begins at 8 p.m.
Survivors include a brother, Tony of Cedar Rapids. Also surviving are two sisters-in-law, Ruth Rottman and Husband Kenneth and Mildred Waalk, and a niece, Doreen Robinson, all of Cedar Rapids; and two great nephews.
Stanley was preceded in death by two brothers.
Born November 21, 1915, in Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin, Stanley was the son of Thomas and Addie Pesik Cejka. He had lived in Cedar Rapids since 1945. On October 23, 1958, he married Lucille E. Betty Dill in Marion. She died November 2, 1994. Stanley was employed by Wilson Meat Packing Co. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and Wilson Retirees Club.

Lucille E. Betty Cejka, 77, 1031 19th Street S.E. died Wednesday morning November 2, 1994 at Mercy Medical Center after a long illness. Prior to death at Mercy Medical Center, she had been a short time resident a Manor Care Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Services: Mass of the Resurrection 9 a.m. Saturday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, with Rev. Karl Glovik officiating. Visitation from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday at Kuba Funeral Home East where the rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Friday. Burial will be in St. Johns Cemetery, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include her husband Stanley H. of Cedar Rapids; two sisters, Ruth Rottman and Mildred Waalk , both of Cedar Rapids.
Lucille was born April 21, 1917 at Cedar Rapids to John and Lucille Martinek Dill and was a life long resident. She married Stanley Cejka October 23, 1958 at Marion, IA. She was employed by New Process Laundry Co. for many years. Lucille was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
