Searching for the family of Stephan Ceglarski. Stephan was born December 1, 1863 in Jaksice, Poland to mother Jozefa Ceglarski. On Nov. 27, 1889, he married Josepha Kafurska (age 19) in Jaksice, Poland.

I have come to think of him as "Uncle Stephen." He married Josepha Kafurska in Poland 1889. I am amazed to discover that Stephen moved "just down the interstate" from us in Milwaukee--he immigrated to Chicago with Josephine. I have learned that his children were all born in Illinois, although some moved to California. They include: Johanna born June 1892, Wladyslaw (Walter) born May 1894, Bronislaw born June 1896, Wladslawa (Lottie) born April 1899, Stella born Oct. 6, 1901, Louis born Aug. 22, 1906, Mary born about 1910. (2 unknown children died before 1900.)
I would love to hear from any relatives of these names. Stephen Ceglarski and my grandfather had the same mother, a woman named Josephine Gronek (born Poland 1842 and died Milwaukee 1933).

I believe our trees have crossed paths before. They may have done so again; however, I am not sure if the people in question were relatives or friends.
I just found a holy card for a Sophie Pruss (1894-1976). When I looked her up in the Catholic Cemeteries, she was buried next to a Thaddeus Pruss, who was originally mentioned in the first part of this thread. Are you related to the Pruss Family too?

Yes, the Pruss family connects. Sophie was married to Thaddeus, who was my grandmother's first cousin. He was a judge in Milwaukee. Can you tell me anything else? I have holes in that family tree branch.

Unfortunately, at this point, I cannot. I suspect Sophie may have been a Tabaka by birth which would make her a relative of mine; however, until I know if it is the same Sophie, I can't even be sure Sophie and Thaddeus were relatives and not just friends.
I let you know if I find out any more.
