I don't know about arrival of Salvadore in USA. The Salvadore in our family line was born in New Orleans 10/15/1872 according to our family Bible. His father and brother immigated from Palermo, but I don't have a ship and things I read said they might have come in through the port of New Orleans. How are you relatedto a Salvadore? Thanks Dudley Grove

Hi there,
I'm trying to learn more about Dominick Cefalu. My g-g-g-grandmother was Antoinette Cefalu, apparently born in Louisiana around 1852 and married to a Paul (Paolo) Guarnieri who was born in Italy around 1845. The problem is that I can't trace Antoinette any further.

I have a suspicion that Dominick is her uncle, although I haven't anything to prove it except that she named her first son Dominick and her husband was working as a fruit merchant. Dominick Cefalu is listed on one user-generated tree as being her father, but I believe that to be in error since there are plenty of records verifying his children's names.

I was hoping that maybe your family Bible had some clue?

Thank you!
