CARL CEDARHOLM
Ross Township
Carl CEDARHOLM and his wife Tilda were both born in Sweden in 1877 and came to the United States in 1898. At first they lived at Nelson Park near Karlstad, where Carl's brothers: Nels and Pete also lived. In 1902 they moved to the Ross-Duxby area townships.
In 1907, Carl and Tilda moved to Ross, where they ran a blacksmith shop. Tilda was Postmistress at Ross fra 1919 to 1947
Later, Carl and his son: Emil, operated a garage in addition to the store and blacksmith shop.
The Cedarholms were members of Concordia Lutheran Church west of Ross.
They had two children and six grandchildren. These are a daughter: Julia ( Mrs Ned DUNHAM), whose children are: Earl, Dennis, Jack, Levern and Judy. Their son, Emil married Jeanette BRECK, had one daughter: Roberta (Mrs Phil JOHNSON).
