I'm a Cedeno from Higuey!
I'm actually Santana Cedeno, my mother is Ceneida Cedeno, my father is Tomas Santana.
My grandfather had several children. His name was Ulises Cedeno, a well-known and respected, self-educated religeous man from Anamuya (or Anamulla?, Ana Muya?, Ana Mulla?) a piece of countryside about 5-10 miles outside of Higuey. He was a teacher there. He died in July or August 1987. He and my grandmother, Celeste Severino, had many children (my mother's generation)
His father, my great-grandfather, was Candido Cedeno (married to Leocadia Pena). They had around 14 children (which included a set of twins).
In my extended family there are other Cedenos. My uncle, Angel Maria Santana (known as Machito) was once married to Cristina Cedeno (known as Loli), her family is from a place in (or around) Higuey called El Llano. I can get more info on that set of Cedenos if anyone needs and I'm sure we are all related somehow.
