LOWELLVILLE, Ohio - Elizabeth “Betty” LoCicero, 95, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, Aug. 6, 2013, at St. Elizabeth Boardman (Ohio) Health Center.

Betty was born March 6, 1918, in Mt. Carmel, Conn., the daughter of Elio and Claudia (Bianchi) Cecchini.

She was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Parish
She was a member of Mt. Carmel, St. Stanislaus and Immaculate Conception Seniors.
She enjoyed making pizzas and volunteering at the soup kitchen. She was a graduate of Campbell Memorial High School, Campbell, Ohio.

Her husband, John “Blackie” LoCicero Sr., whom she married Feb. 14, 1942, passed away Aug. 30, 2002.

Betty will always be remembered by her two daughters, Gloria (Pete) Garafola of Largo, Fla. and Libby (Charles) Koulianos of Youngstown, Ohio; her two sons, John (Regina) LoCicero of New Waterford, Ohio and Peter LoCicero of Youngstown; seven grandchildren, Nicholas LoCicero, Stacy (James) Duvall, Thomas Jr., Jeff, Sean, and Danny Curtin and Rochelle Bellino; eight great-grandchildren, Samantha Marie Curtin, Jacob Steele Curtin, Hannah Elizabeth Curtin, Mark Fusillo Jr., Mario Fusillo, Angela Curtin and Owen and Dane Duvall.

Besides her parents and husband, Betty was preceded in death by her sister, Rita Lucente.

There will be a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, Aug. 10, 2013, at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church

Friends may call from 9 a.m. until time of Mass on Saturday at the church.
