My Aunt was able to find copies of the Hamburg manifest (Mar 1855) in Pana Maria, Texas. I think this is where, if not, they may know where to look.

Hi M: thanks so much for your reply. I've composed a letter back to the volunteers in Panna Maria and will keep my fingers crossed, The author of First Polish Americans says that some of the early Silesian immigrants booked passage thru Hamburg and other ports, though most came on the several Wesser voyages out of Bremen. Hoping to find my ggrandfather Mazurek on those Hamburg documents you mentioned. Thanks again.
