Hi all,
I have been researching my Ceaser line for 23 years and I am in the process of writing a book on them. All Ceasers from Louisiana please get in touch with me directly @ tmmshu@aol.com with your ancestry information so I can place it in my files and in my book.
Thank you!
Theresa

Hello Kinfolk,
Just read your message regarding writing a book about the Ceasers, one of which I am. My dad is John Ceaser, grandfather Isaac "Chet", plenty of aunts, uncles, cousins and as you know, the list goes on. Will send you information as soon as I gather it all. And by the way, yes, we originated from Louisiana.Let me know how I can help you with the book. I am a writer by "birth." Please visit my website when you get a moment: freewebs.com/joyfulexpressions/
Blessings

Hi Eva!
I'm so glad you emailed me. I have so many Eva Ceasers in my line it's unbelievable. Anyway, if you have a family tree or a list of your descendants that you could send me that would be great. My line originated from Cyprien Cesaire of Louisiana, however, I have traced the line clear back to Senegal, West Africa. I have several pictures and comments from relatives that I will include in the book. I have been slow at writing the book right now because I am caring for my 78 year old mother who has Alzheimer's. So I'm slowly chugging away at it.
Thanks again for emailing me. My email is tmmshu@aol.com

Hello Theresa
Good to hear from you again. Bless your heart for taking care of your mother. Tells me what kind of daughter you are. Your mom is blessed to have a daughter like you. Be encouraged, it all comes back to you eventually.

Here's what I have gathered so far.
Josiah or Josesett or Joseph Ceaser (somewhere along the way the name got spelled Sezar) some still spell it this way even tho we are kin) married Louisa Lavain Ceaser (don't know her maiden name). My great-grandmother Louisa eventually died in a house fire in Elton, La. They had 7 children:
1.Isaac "Chet" Sezar (my grandfather) was born in Abbeyville, La.Isaac married Eva Mae Bellow.
2. Irene
3. Bass
4. Mayo
5. Mary
6. George
7. Annie Mae
Now there was an 8th child, Tom, but Tom was fathered by a white man (Louisa was the mother) wish I knew the story behind that but I don't). Tom's (other name); William Johnson had one son, Edgar Johnson. Story is told that Louisa really was white. I've seen pictures & I can believe it.

I remember all of these people (above) while growing up, except of course for my great grand parents.

Louisa & Josiah's firstborn son Isaac who married Eva Mae Bellow. Isaac and Eva Mae went on to have:
1. Rosalie Bellow (her mother had her before she met & married Isaac, although Isaac raised her as his own. Rosalie's biological father was Nelson Simien.
2.John "JB" (my father)
3. Dominick
4.Rita
5.Joe
6. Ester & Ethyl (twins) who was involved in some some of house fire at a young age.Ester survived, though severly burned over a large portion of her body that left her crippled, Ethyl died.
7. After Eva Mae died, Isaac remarried Lizzie years later & another son was bron to this union, Alfred.
Don't know if theres a connection, but hope this helps in your search. Let me know what you come up with or if you need any more info. Can you tell me some of the names of some that you have so far? My curosity is getting the best of me.

Eva

I have family in Elton, LA. Not really sure of any connections though. My grandfather is Paul Ceaser and grandmother is Mary Lou Victorian Ceaser. Paul Ceaser father was Columbus "Meon" Ceaser and mother was Elizabeth Ceaser (was told maiden name was the same as married). Hopefully you can provide more information.

Thanks

Hello, sorry it has taken me so long to answer. It's hard for me to get back into my genealogy. Been doing it for 26 years now. You are related to me in the long run. I have to see what info I have on Columbus and Elizabeth Ceaser.
