HI, I'M TOMEKA (MEKA). I WAS JUST MESSING AROUND ON THE NET AND DECIDED TO TRY AND FIND OUT JUST ABOUT HOW MANY PEOPLE ARE IN THE FAMILY. I'M FROM EUNICE, LA. I'VE BEEN LOOKING AT THE NAMES AND ONLY A FEW PEOPLE THAT I KNEW ARE MY FAMILY. LIKE, FOR INSTANCE, MY GRANDMOTHER, AND OTHER COUSINS. BUT IT WOULD BE NICE IF I CAN GET AN E-MAIL BACK FROM SOMEONE SAYING THAT THEY KNOW SOMEONE IN MY FAMILY. ALL I KNOW IS THAT WE ARE EVERYWHERE. WE HAVE PEOPLE ALL OVER IN EUNICE, LAKE CHARLES, DERIDDER AND DEQUINCY. I DON'T REALLY KNOW WHERE ELSE BUT I'M TRYING TO FIND OUT. THANKS FOR YOUR TIME AND PATIENCE. LOVE, MEKA

Hi Meka, my CEASERS were from Eunice, however, while they were there they spelled their name CESAIRE. All of the CEASERS on my mother's father's side came out of Eunice and Welsh. Once they got to Philadelphia Pa in the late 1920s they changed the spelling to CEASER, and CAESAR, so it's been a little hard tracing them in Philly. Email me and let me know if any of your CEASERS are my CEASERS. Maybe we can find stuff out together. T

Hi Meka, ok here goes, I'll give you the direct line, if you need additional dates let me know. My grandfather is Henry Asa CEASER born Dec 6 1907 in Welsh. His father Leonard Cyprien Cesaire born Dec 29 1873 in Eunice. His father Cyprien Cesaire jr born 1845 Eunice and he married Augustine Durousseau. His father Cyprien Cesaire sr born 1806 Eunice married Pelagie Victorian. My grandfather had a sister, her name was Orine born April 18 1906 in Welsh. I have the names of all the children's names clear back to the slave owner. I traced the owner back to 1830. Ceaser family line from Kilcross, Killead, Antrim, Ireland
Please let me know if you think you're related to the Ceaser family line from Kilcross, Killead, Antrim, Ireland from at least 1793 - I think there is a whole other Ceaser line (where the name spelling has been recently changed to Ceaser) originating in the southern US states - I'm interested in the Irish Ceasers - any connections here?
Thanks
