I happen to be Ceasar by Marriage. the family is originally from Louisiana and they originally spells it Sezer but they got it turned around long time ago so 3 brothers all spell their names different Their father spell it Sezer, one spells it Caeser one spells it Ceaser, some in the family spell it Cezar Cesar Cezer so it is hard to know whos related and whose not.

Surnames: Ceasers (all spellings)
Hi Melanie,
I have done research on the Ceaser (all spellings) line of my family for 24 years. I have traced the line to Africa. All of my Ceasers come from Louisiana. Can you give me any names and dates so I can add them to my tree?
Thanking you in advance.
Theresa

Interesting. I am looking for a Sarah Ceasar, variously spelled Cessor, Caesar, Cessar, who was in the Savannah area, marrying a John Turner there in 1827. I think her father was named Peter. Same of the first names you list are also used in my family in the Turners and later the Blacks. (William Marion Black, for instance.)

Marion Ceasar was my great grandfather and he was from Ga. I know i have many family members still in Miss but I dont know any names. All of the members that could tell me about them are deceased now so its like looking for a needle in a haystack.

I recently decided to trace my family history on my mother's side which are the Caesars from Dominicia. I am trying to locate my grandfather Andrew Caesar and Nell Caesar (nee Anthony) both of whom are deceased. I have all the recent family information but what I am trying to find out is where the family originated from. I would appreciate any assistance that I can get.
