Looking for information on my gggrandfather. He was a Lt.Colonel in the Civil War and fought in several well documented battles in MO. Would like to know what happened to him after the war. Have no record of where he went or where he is buried.

He is my G.G. Grandfather also. All I know is what you know. Have you traced him back before civil war?

Yes I'm interested in whatever you've got! I'm son of Hubert Dale Cearnal who was son of George Cearnal (Joplin, MO.) who was son of son of J.T.

Is there any connection here to the Cearnal's out of Cape Girardieu, MO. My grandfathers family is from there

Robert Cearnal, my father's first cousin, lived in Cape Girardeau in the late 1940's and early 1950's. So far as I know that is the only connection to that area. The spelling is unusual so we must all have a
common ancestor probably from N.C. Amanda
