Alice, about the same as you. I have talked to one of our "cousins" who just recently made a trip to France and met some of our relatives over there. She saw the house Francois was born in. She also found out his parents names. She is suppose to send me that info. When she does I will let you know. Do you have anything on the Thomas Family? How is all your family doing?

Here is some information about one of the first Cazalas' to come here...
I believe there was a small handful...2 or 3, and just about all the Cazalas' in the US now are from one of those.

This is my line, Virginia and Francoise. They moved to Napoleonville Alabama (later it became a part of Mobile). Alabama was very french at the time.

Cazalas Reunion in Mobile on November 27th, Saturday after Thanksgiving. Email me for details: azaleamom@aol.com or on facebook.

Mom (Helen Cazalas Swinson)and I were talking about the Cazalases that moved to Texas. She remembered that several children of John Baptiste went with Julius Cazalas. I'd love to get back in touch with some of the family.
