Re: alphosine florence cayea
I think if you look up my profile by clicking on my name you should be able to get to it ..if not let me know and i will send you a link some how... tonight I traced some of our seemingly common relatives to Derbyshire eng.. where i found the father of Tryphenia Argile Gladd come from I found what seems to be her father stepmother possibly and siblings.. I also checked there address listed in the 1841-51 census and found the road still exists but the sattalight photograph show only new tract type housing.john argile seems to have been a toll both collector they lived in the toll house. he seems to have 2 relatives males that were farmers George and William who also lived locally a history dated 1857 states that William was in a members only group called the henge not a secret society more like a town fellowship. there are also listings in Manchester and Nottingham for argile's that have current addresses and phone numbers.might be related they live with in a short driving distance from the original family....If i find out more I will let you know.. I am trying to find as far back as i can it was my grandmothers dying with that I not let the family history get lost..

Re: alphosine florence cayea
Thanks for your reply. I believe that the families are not the same as my Gladd connections. The Gladd family in my family were French Canadian. They changed their surname from Content to Gladd around 1850. But thanks for the info.
