Surnames: Cacciutto
Your Caccuitti is almost certainly a spelling variant of Cacciutto, which is my maiden name. Cacciutto is not a common name. The branch of the family that I know about originates from the town of Lacco Ameno on the island of Ischia, in the Bay of Naples.

Let me know if I can be of assistance.

Just back home . I Confirm Frank ( oldest from 6 ) is part of "lunghi" branch of Cavaciuti , son of Giovanni( john) and caterina.Giovanni had an older brother, Antonio emigrated to France ( 1 son Giuseppe ). Frank Grdfather was Andrea ( 3rd of Five: Giacobbe, Domenico,Andrea, Giovanni and Antonio).
The younger brother Antonio borned after their father died , get the father name : Antonio . Brother Antonio was the first of the cavaciuti family to emigrate to the states : his nickname : l'americano and had 2 daughters : Cheri and Luisa.GrandGrandfather of Frank ( Father of Andrea) was Antonio 1812-1860 ( only male child) . Antonio's father was Giacobbe born 1780 son of Antonio born 1748-died 1807, son of Cristoforo 1725-1750 who is the root of taht branch. They were 5 branches all issued of a guy called Rusteghino Cavazuto 1480( Rusteghini is the name of the village) . The only missing info is the name of Franck brother and /or sister but it seems he had only youger brother. can you confirm

I found your ancestor research on the Internet and was amazed to read your findings. I am also a "cavaciuti". You mentionned Rusteghini village on your message, this is where I go almost every year to spend my holidays. Have you been there already?
