My grandparents were Joseph A. Cauchon, born Aug. 18, 1869 in Carleton, Quebec, Canada, to Joseph Cauchon and Arselie Berube, died in 1946 or 1947 in Munising, MI. and Catherine Minnie LeBlanc, born Nov. 19, 1868 in Carleton, Quebec, Canada, died July 3, 1945 in Trenary, MI. They had the following children; Anthony, born 1902; Marie Marguerite Ida (my mother), born Jan. 18, 1904, in Carleton, Quebec, died 1993 in OR, married to Ernest A. Paulsen Aug. 1921 in Trenary, MI.; Catherine born 190?, died Nov. 1983 in Detroit, MI, married to Theodore Lompra in 1922; John Albert, born 1908 in Limestone, MI, died 1961, married Esther Hulbert; Francis, born 1910, died 1967, married to Bertha (from Canada) who died in 1981. My mother was baptised in the Parish of St. Joseph of Carleton, Jan. 19,1904 by J. H. Lavois, Priest and witnessed by Arselie Berube and Jean Baptiste LeBlanc. I know nothing of my relatives in Canada and would appreciate anyone having pertinent information to contact me.

My grandmother was Marie Albertine Léa Cauchon, she was the daughter of Joseph Cauchon and of Marie Arselie Bérubé.She was born in Carleton on the 26 sept. 1892 and died in New-Richmond Québec in 1979. Joseph As been married twice. The first time, he was married to Marguerite Cloutier in 1865 in St-Roch Québec. Marguerite died in 1887. Joseph remarried with Marie-Arsélie Bérubé on the 24 sept 1888 in Carleton Québec. Your grandfather was the half-brother of my grandmother. They never seen each other. Your grandfather left for the US when she was to young. But they kept in touch by writing. I'm joining a post card he send to her in 1909. I would be please to hear from you!
