A little more info might help us help you. If you look on your birth cert. it should tell your father's age and place of birth. You could then go to the place of his birth for his birth cert. and find his parent's names. You might also want to try a search online in the yellow pages for the state of your birth or his, for his name. My Great Great Grandmother was a Casto from Jackson Co WV. ok I will try that. It says he was born in Ohio so how would I go about looking and it doesn't say where he was born it just says in Ohio.

You can send for his birth certificate in Columbus if he was born after 1909. You need at least his name and year of birth. You can also try a search on the Social Security Index, and then send for that. Like I said before, you need to provide a little more info before anyone can really give you direct help. I was born in OU hospital and lived in Lancaster Ohio with mom and dad. HE was born in 1954 on May 14. In 2000 he was released from prison. I found his picture on on the ohio correction and rehabilation web site. That is what ispired my search. That was the first time I had seen a picture of him.I think the site has his social security number on it I will look and see. I really am thankful for your help I have never done anything like this and I appriciate your guidance.
