Anthony Joseph Casabella and Catherine Weisenberger are my GGGrandparents. They had 7 kids. One of them was Bertha Cecelia who was born on 11/23/1881. She married Martin Nicholas Stocker who was born on 2/3/1881. They were married on 11/24/1904. Anthony and Catherine's other kids were Sr. Johanna, Mary, Joseph, Anthony, Josephine and Anna. If anyone has any information on Anthony or Catherine's parents, or when they came to the U.S. from Europe, Please let me know.
Thanks,
Jason

I have information on the above couple and I am glad to share it. The couple you mention may be this Anthony's granparents?

I would say more than likely they are his grandparents. I know they had a son named Anthony and maybe he is this Anthony's father. I also know that the son Anthony had several kids and his sister Bertha, my GGrandmother, helped raise them(my Grandpa told me this).
Also after visiting St. Michaels Cemetery I have reason to believe Anthony Joseph may have went by his middle name. The tombstone reads "Joseph Casabella Geb.29,Aug.1844. Gest.7,Juni 1912". I also think Catherine Weisenberger was actually Katharina Weisenberger. Her tombstone reads "Katharina Casabella Geb.21,Mai 1842. Gest.3,Mai 1899". I'm assuming these are the same people my original post was about. There are Casabella's and Weisenberger's right next to each other in the cemetery.

Jason,
Thanks for the additional information. I've seen some of the CASABELLA markers at St. Michael's Cem., and I thought I might have a picture. My wife and I both have ancestors there. The CASSABELLAs are an allied line to some other families that I work on - the STROTHMANs and the KLAPHEKEs. I am glad to send you what I have. My email address is mthomas233@aol.com. Mark W. Thomas

P.S. Have you looked up Jos. Casabella's Death Cert at the Filson Club? I am just curious what information it might have.

You're welcome Mark. I haven't tried to look up Joseph Casabella's death certificate, but I requested information from Calvary cemetery a couple months ago. That's where St. Michael's main office is. I'm still waiting to hear back from them. If I come across any info from them I will let you know. My email address is mrstocker@aol.com. Let me know any more info you have.
Thanks,
Jason

I know this is an old message. But..I am working on the Strothman family. My Father-in-law was Charles I Strothman, his father Henry Strothman and mother Ida Klapheke Strothman. I understand his father was HY. but I can not get any further information.
Any help would be appreciated.

You are welcome to what I have. I worked on this family some years ago because it is connected with the Klapheke family. Send me an e-mail at: mthomas233@insightbb.com
