My mother was a Cartwright. Her father was Thomas Cartwright from Carter Co.Ky. He married Ellen(Ella) Stamper. I know they were married in KY and I'm not sure what yr. but they had a son named James Arthur Cartwright born abt. 1908. Ellens mother was Martha Stewart Stamper. They were married in Carter Co. Ky.
