Mayme Ward Boren
Sept. 4, 1911 - March 13, 2003

She was born Sept. 4, 1911, near Myrtle Point to the pioneer family local to the area, Henry and Clara Carter Ward. She died March 13, 2003, in Myrtle Point.

She was one of six children. In 1931, she married Walter "Walt" Boren in Yreka, Calif.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Boren in 1978; foster son, Fred "Bub" Boren; brothers, Earl, Carl, Ray and Dale Ward; and sister, Nona Mast.
