I am trying to determine the parents, birth place, birth date and spouse of my ancestor David Carson. He was born around 1765 and lived in Buncombe and Haywood Co NC in 1800-1840 range. He children (probably) included Matthew, Virginia Jane, Catherine, Ambrose, Samuel and William and maybe others. One source said his wife was a Patterson, daughter of Matthew Patterson.
