Looking for descendants/info on Peter Joseph Carroll born in Queenstown or Youghal, County Cork, Ireland son of Michael Carroll and Johannah O'Sullivan. Immigrated to Franklin, New Hampshire c1888 work for The Journal Transcript. Moved to Chelsea, Mass and was working as a reporter for the Chelsea Evening Tribune in 1902 by 1910 he was in Pawtucket Rhode Island working as the City Editor for the Pawtucket Times, he was there until the early 1950's. He was living in Melrose Mass at time of death, his wife's first name was Gertrude. Two sons Robert W. Carroll and Peter Joseph Carroll Jr.

There were still Carrolls in Franklin, NH at least through the 1960's. There was a David Carroll, known as Chick, who had two sons. The sons were born around the late 1940's.
