I believe there is solid evidence that she is a granddaughter of Dr Paul Carrington and Henningham Codrington.... I believe there is solid evidence that George is not her father, based on his bible and his will. My hunch is Nathaniel Carrington. Nathaniel's son John seems to have had some relation to Charity in Orange County, North Carolina. I believe they were brother and sister, although I have yet to see paper evidence.
