The 1860 census, Reading, Hillsdale, MI, has a Jas CORRINGTON, b. 1805, NY, married to wife Elany, with two children, Newell and Martha. (The kids were hers, by her first marriage, but using the step-father's surname.)

Jas CORRINGTON and Elany (HAWKINS) THOMAS must have married between 1850 and 1860, since she was living with her 1st husband (Chauncey Thomas) and family in 1850, Reading, MI.

I've not been able to find any additional reference to James CORRINGTON (or Carrington). Any information on him, especially including his marriage, death, or burial would be greatly appreciated.
