I am a descendent of the Carringtons of Cheshire. My Smith/Smyth line derives from the Smyths of Blackmore, Essex who descended through the name change from Carrington in the Medieval period. I would be interested in asking a few specific questions if you have the time. I am very interested in comparing DNA as well with any known direct descendents of the line.
