She died 20 May 2004 from complications of daibetes and heart disease.
She graduated from St. mary's Academy in 1963. She worked as a special education teacher's assistant for over 15 years. She was a Girl Scout Troop Leader for many years, volunteered at Sanchez Elementary School.
