I am a descendent of Thomas
Ignatius Carrico, through his daughter Mary
Carrico Kerrick, Thomas
Ignatius Carrico Kerrick, Catherine
Kerrick Bradley and Frances Matilda Bradley
Miller (my GGrandmother). All the publicly posted family trees show Thomas
Ignatius Carrico’s wife as “Elizabeth Kirby”, but I have found entries in Henry C. Peden’s book “Revolutionary Patriots of
Charles County Maryland 1775-1783” that show his wife as “Elizabeth Carrington” (page 45). Peden also lists Jesse
Boswell as Elizabeth Carrington’s first husband. (page 27).
What records exist that confirm the identity of Thomas Ignatius’ wife? Thanks, Ron
Miller
