I just found the birth certificates that I received from Liverpool the other year. They sent me the wrong ones but the one was for a Joseph Carney born the 6th of January 1847, son of Thomas Carney and Judith McQuillan[?]. Also born that same day was a twin, Thomas. The records that I had wanted were for a Thomas and William Carney. One set of twins was on page 336 (the ones I wanted) and the others were on page 346. I'm going to try and send away for them again.
