I have Hugh Carnahan born Aberdeenshire Scotland 1730, Married Mary Elizabeth Finley or McKinley. Child Andrew born 1762. Have a lot of information on
Andrew, but none on his grandparents..

Talked with a Bobby Carnahan who told me there isn't any connection to James Alexander Carnahan, as Hughs father..
My father who would be over 100 at this time told me there were three brothers who came over from Ireland. (this is an oral history passed down) He said the names were James, John and Hugh. In my research I have found mention of James, John, but nothing on Hugh as being a brother to James and John. would love to find out if he came over with his father and who is father was.
