Good morning Dianna, Thank you for your post. In my search for early Carnahan records, I find that John Carnahan b.1778 in Ireland, was recorded to have lived in Cadiz,OH during his later life. My search shows that his father, John Sr.b.1730 in Ireland, came to America, first to PA, and then to the Cadiz area, dying there in 1806. He was accompanied be five sons, George b.1768, Samuel b.1764, Joseph b.1769, John b.1778 and James b.?. It seems they all came to the Cadiz area. Wives names are missing for some. A son of John b.1778, named David R.,b.1814 in Brown,Harrison,OH moved to Cedar, Mahaska, IA where he died. This is a repeat of material I think you have?? Please use my e-mail = carl1928@cox.net, for anymore help. Thank you. Carl Carnahan
