I think I must be a bit confused. [not the first time]

I have Charlie Monroe Carrico first married to Bessie Erma Dickerson and second to Brenda Faye Higgins.

Then I have a son from the first wife, Bessie Erma, as James R. Carrico who married Nona Faye (surname???).

Was Nona Faye’s surname Higgins and was she related to Brenda Faye Higgins in some way?

Which child was your father if you don’t mind me asking? I don’t have many dates so I am mixed up. I have James R. born 13 May 1920 and died 5 May 1981.
