Question: Which Joseph Carrico/Carico married Mary Melinda/Malinda Shuck in Indian Creek, Monroe Co., Missouri in 1842?
There seem to be two Joseph Carricos with a wife Melinda/Malinda living in Indian Creek, Monroe Co., Missouri in 1860. They are about the same ages and have some children with the same names. We have been told in the past that one Joseph Martin Carrico married a Mary Malinda Shuck in Oct 1842.
We have found the following:

Note that Joseph was born in Missouri and in 1850 he had his mother, Helena O’Bryan Carrico living with him. His wife was born in Kentucky.
We feel that this is the right family of Joseph Martin Carrico.

Living next door to Joseph Carico is a George Miles 22 M Plasterer born MO and we would guess, his wife, Elizabeth Miles 16 F born MO. (To add to our confusion note that in the other 1860 census, page 161, same town and county that next door is another George Miles age 22 and Elizabeth Miles age 17).
On the other side of Joseph Carico is a Henry Shuck born KY and his family. We wonder if this might be a brother to Mary Malinda Shuck Carrico and if so, is there any chance that Mary Malinda Shuck married this Joseph Carico and not the other Joseph Martin Carrico?
Does anyone know who the parents of this Joseph are?
